WEB-ED Webpage and Scripting Editor
 from Joe'Software

WEB-ED is a dual editor for HTML and VBScript. There are various functions for each
language and each has a double row of auto-insert buttons for common code.
For HTML there's a color picker and color sampler (to get the hex code for a spot in
a graphic image.) There's also a toggling browser window to view changes as you write them.
In the scripting window there are line and column numbers for debugging and a
quick-reference list of message box constants. In the program folder are a brief description of
VBScript with sample code and a zip file containing sample scripts.
You'll find full info. in the program help.

CHANGES FROM v. 2.7:
(These are explained in the new Help file.)

* Optional colorcoding for both HTML and VBScript.

* 'Clipping Pad' : an extra editor window for pasting text temporarily-
essentially, a means to edit the Clipboard.

* Find and Replace function : find and/or replace one or all occurences
of given text; also count the number of occurences.

* The editor window and clipping Pad both 'remember' their last position.

* The color sampling function is still on the menu but the other graphic
functions have been incorporated into the auto-insert buttons.

* Various interface changes made in an attempt to make the general
  operation more intuitive.

* Wordwrap - I read a review lamenting the lack of wordwrap! this function
would seem as much a problem as a help in a code editor, where
a carriage return affects the code. On the other hand, it can be useful.
The solution presented here is to provide wordwrap on a per-time basis.
In other words, you can choose it at any time but it won't be set the next time
 you start the editor.

  Bug Fixes :

  * Fixed the Exit button in the browser, which would wander out of the window
   if the browser was size-reduced!

  * Replaced icons with lower color-depth versions; they didn't display
    properly on 256 color displays.

Known Issue : The text window component has its own printing functions
that don't seem to always work properly. You may find that if printing
goes to 2 pages then a few lines get clipped between pages 1 and 2.
This may depend on your brand of printer.
The solution is to select one page worth, print it, then select the rest
  to print.
There is a potential issue, known to Microsoft, whereby in occasional
cases the print function could be incompatible with the printer and not
  work at all.
